A safety pin is not sewn to the actual ribbon. It's pinned through. A back pin is sewn to the actual ribbon.

Custom Awareness Ribbons with Pins
These ribbons are made using 5/8" wide bridal grade ribbon and are 3.5" in length each when finished. Each is premade and includes a safety pin attachment. The option of using custom artwork is available. Ribbon edges may be pinked or angled. The minimum order is 100 ribbons.
